DoréDevelopment works with a variety of platforms and modules, some of which are proprietary and other are developed through involvement in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) collaborations.
There are a variety of objectives with platforms and modules in DoréDevelopment, all working towards delivering the best starting point for the developmental projects DoréDevelopment becomes involved in. The main objectives are:
- Support for technology is not "off the shelf" in the FOSS community or by other software vendors.
- Reduce the development time from concept to first prototype through use of platforms.
- Increase quality through reuse, optimization and continuous automated test.
- Streamlining of the development work through the use of FOSS ingredients in development work.
